How do I get to the wedding?

The Hudson Valley is pretty easily accessible from the NYC area (a 2-3 hour drive), but it is a little more challenging if you’re coming from further away. If you plan on flying in, we recommend flying to the Newburgh or Albany airport, renting a car, and driving about an hour to Phoenicia. It is difficult to get around this area without a car, so we recommend that someone in your party drives.

Where do I stay?

We have a list of of three hotels/cabins where we recommend you stay! We will be providing a shuttle to/from these locations to the Diner so you won’t have to drive. Check this page to learn more. We recommend booking as soon as you can because we were only able to reserve a block at Simpler Times (which is a bit rustic and not for everyone). The Catskills are popular at this time of year and people do book in advance! However, there are many options for places to stay in the area. If you want to stay somewhere else, make sure you book a cab back in advance!

What is the schedule of events for the weekend?

On Friday, we will have a welcome pizza party. The wedding will be Saturday night. On Sunday morning, we will have a pancake breakfast at our home in Kingston. Find out more on our schedule page.

What time should I arrive to the wedding?

Please try to arrive to the Diner at 6:45 pm. We are hoping to start the ceremony at 7:15 pm!

What is the dress code?

We are recommending cocktail attire, but please get a little funky if the spirit guides you.

How do I RSVP?

You can RSVP on our RSVP page. Please RSVP by July 1 at the latest!

Is there a registry?

We have registered with Honeyfund for cash gifts for building our home and for our honeymoon! A card box will also be at our reception. Of course, your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 3 Westrum Street in Kingston.

Will there be an open bar?

Heck yeah!

Will the wedding be inside or outside?

It will be both! We have the whole diner rented, including the main dining room, bar, and a covered outdoor picnic area.

Is there parking at the diner?

Yes! Though we do recommend that you take the shuttle if you can :)

Is there a wedding party?

Nope! No colors to avoid wearing.

Can I bring a plus one?

If you have a plus one, it will be explicitly listed on your invite. Please indicate total number of people coming when you RSVP.

Can I bring kids?

Absolutely! We are excited to have your kids at the wedding.

What type of food will you have at the wedding?

We are going to be intentional about being inclusive with the menu. Pazia is a vegetarian, so we will have great vegetarian options. There will be vegan and gluten free options, too. Please indicate any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP.

Is there an after party?

Since we will be partying from 7 pm - 2 am, we will be tuckered out by the end of the night. See us for pancake breakfast in the morning!
